Arts Managers Society: Arts Connections
Meeting Professional – Siobhan Sloper

Arts Connections is the Arts Managers Society’s series aimed at providing members with the opportunity to meet with professionals from the arts industry. Each session will feature an active contributor to the Australian arts and cultural scene, and you will have the chance to discuss and ask any questions you may have!

Siobhan Sloper – Gallery and Museum Manager, Lyon Housemuseum and Galleries
Siobhan is the Gallery and Museum Manager at the Lyon Housemuseum and Galleries. She has worked with a number of visual art organisations both commercial and not-for-profit including the Gertrude Gallery, Bus Projects, Spring 1883, Sutton Gallery, and Melbourne Art Fair. She has curated various exhibitions and projects throughout Melbourne. In 2020 she was the Gertrude Contemporary Emerging Curator, presenting Remedy for the Doldrums at Gertrude Glasshouse. She is a current Board Member at BLINDSIDE. Siobhan has a Masters of Art Curatorship from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Arts/Visual Arts from Monash University.

In collaboration with Wildlife Conservation Society, the event will take place on Netflix via the Teleparty extension, so we will be sending out the link to you 1 hour beforehand. Cast-On Charity Group will be having their weekly crafting workshop in conjunction with Anime and Manga Club in Joe Napolitano A and B from 11am-2pm.
