One For The World
One For The World is student-led for-purpose organisation that has chapters in top institutions around the world including Harvard, Pennsylvania, McGill and most recently, The University of Melbourne. Our mission is simple: to mobilise the student body and eradicate extreme poverty within our lifetimes. On our website (1fortheworld.org) we have a list of 16 charities that have been selected based on Effective Altruism principles and partnerships with leading research organisations (GiveWell.org). Since our founding in 2014, we have raised over $1 million in student pledges and improved the lives of thousands of people around the world. Come join us!
