Slavic Students Society

The Melbourne University Slavic Student’s Society is a newly founded society for all those seeking to immerse themselves into the culture, tradition, history, art, literature, music and most importantly cuisine that the Slavic nations have to offer.

From Slavic food stalls, to movie screenings, pub nights, language lessons and Slavic community events, this club aims to find something for everyone.

We hope to engage with all Slavs and non-Slavs in the many events that the club holds. I guess the only question is, are you ready to Slav squat?

Club Aims:

  1. To promote fellowship between all Slavic countries and repair post-war relationship in a safe, open and familiar place
  2. To promote the exchange and proliferation of Slavic languages, enhancing the multi-cultural community at the University of Melbourne
  3. To share and enjoy Slavic literature, film, history, traditions, music and cuisine
  4. To promote social interactions and communications between Slavic and non-Slavic students through the understanding of Slavic culture
