Vets Beyond Borders

Melbourne University Vets Beyond Borders Student Chapter is a cross-faculty group with an interest in local and international veterinary aid and development, animal welfare and disease-control.

Club Aims

  1. To provide a platform for students to interact and connect with established veterinary professionals involved in public health and animal welfare projects in developing countries;
  2. To raise awareness of current international veterinary challenges such as Rabies control and the importance of an integrative and comprehensive approach to global health;
  3. To raise funds to contribute to volunteer-run vets beyond borders programs in India, Nepal, China, Vanuatu and more;
  4. To engage and collaborate with like-minded students with a passion for sharing knowledge to better the veterinary profession worldwide.

This group is run with the official support of Vets Beyond Borders with annual profits being donated to this organisation.
