The best thing about the new version of this subject (now called, ECOM20001 Econometrics 1) is that they've incorporated coding into it. Not only did I learn advanced regression (the focus of this subject) but also how to use the statistical programming language R to make and analyse economic models. It's a mentally stimulating subject and you can easily get an H1 if you are good with stats and can interpret formulas.
Overall, a really good subject with intuitive content if you are interested in the regression models and learning how economical decisions can be proven with statistics. However, I must mention that it took a lot of personal reading and questioning as some content posted up by the new subject coordinators this semester have errors in them (it's understandable as they are still adjusting). Personally, I feel that this subject is challenging in a good way, if you need to take it as a requirement for your major and are worried, don't fret! Got a H2B (the finals were quite unreasonable with an extreme amount of sub questions) but I'm sure others can do better than I did.
