This subject is probably one of the most interesting and exciting history subjects I've done in my degree. The lecturer, Peter McPhee, is incredible - you'll definitely want to go to them. My tutorial discussions were really interesting and the assessment is good. Definitely take it if you can.
An excellent look into the causes and implications of the French revolution. The assessment is challenging, but if you do the readings it is easy enough.
My favourite history subject of my undergrad!! The lectures were so engaging and the subject as a whole is very focused (unlike some of the broader history subjects that span full centuries). I havent met a student that's complained about this subject.
This is the best history subject I have completed so far in my degree! Peter McPhee is an expert who I was lucky enough to have as my lecturer. Although he is sadly retiring, Una is equally as fantastic, and the tutors were incredibly hardworking. The content is interesting, we read great primary sources in engaging tutorials. The two essays required a fair amount of work, but the tutors were great with feedback and marking. I would recommend it to everyone!
