Good easy breadth for those who are interested in law. The subject is compulsory for those studying accounting, and some of the content is specifically included to fulfill the requirements of accounting accreditation. The exam is worth 80%, which is obviously a lot if you don't like exams, but its multiple choice and you get to take a cheat sheet, so its not a bad one.

Great textbook as a study resource. Be sure you prepared well for the cheat sheet to score well in the final exam and online test! Best subject ever.

Good experience with this subject as it is multiple choice and had learnt a lot about the business legislation in Australia within the scope of this subject. The cheat sheet is an important element for this course. As time is limited during the finals, make sure to prepare a cheat sheet which enables you to search for facts easily. Sorting your notes well could potentially lead you to finding facts fast. Time management skills is important as there is a limited time frame during the finals.

Was told this would be a super easy subject, but did not get the grade I wanted, despite putting in the work! Learnt a lot about Australian government/legal process but found it a lot harder to get good grades on the final exam than anticipated

Good class with engaging lecturers, however, the lectures are not recorded which can be frustrating if you miss one. The exam was relatively easy (as you can bring in a cheat sheet) and only an hour and a half. I found that the readings were more helpful than the lectures as the test/exam content was taken directly out of the readings.

good easy breadth subject. exam worth 80%, but its multiple choice and you can take in an A4 cheat sheet. a lot of content is covered but its fairly easy to remember as its case law and has a 'narrative' quality. recommended easy H1.

Do not underestimate the difficult of this subject. So many people say BLAW was their easiest subject and while it may seem straightforward due to the multiple choice exam, it requires a LOT more work and study than you may think. Reading all the readings is a must to score well on quizzes and the exam, and ensure you don't slack off this subject just because there aren't any tutorials.
