Braeside Park Bird Watching Day Trip
Join us for bird watching at Braeside Park, located on the traditional lands of the Bunurong People. The park offers diverse habitats, from Red Gum woodlands to wetlands, providing a perfect environment for birdlife. We are likely to see a variety of species of birds, including Tawny Frogmouths, Eastern Rosellas, and Crested Pigeons. As we explore the wetlands, keep an eye out for Royal and Yellow-billed Spoonbills, Australian Pelicans, and even Blue-billed Ducks with ducklings. Raptors like Black-shouldered Kites and Wedge-tailed Eagles may also make an appearance.

We'll meet at Uni Square at 10:00 AM, and the journey will take approximately 1.5 hours, arriving at Braeside Park by 12:00 PM. We'll return to the city by around 4:00-5:00 PM.
Distance & Walking:
There will be a 3.5 km walk through the park. Please note this so you're prepared. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.

Make sure to bring lunch and snacks, and wear weather-appropriate clothing to ensure you're comfortable throughout the day.
