Alternative Protein Project: Future of Food (panel + Q&A) 🌱

Come and get involved with UMSU Environment’s latest project – the Alternative Protein Initiative for a panel discussion about paving the way to a cleaner and more sustainable food system through the development of alternative proteins. At a time where the demand to transition into a sustainable future is so pressing, our speakers will share the aspirations, challenges and possibilities of the alternative food sector and their own personal experiences.

This panel will explore what trend we anticipate going forward within the food industry, the challenges we are currently facing, as well as the roles that different stakeholders such as entrepreneurs, researchers, and policy-makers play in accelerating this transition towards sustainability. Topics will range from plant-based and cultured meat all the way to clean agricultural production, so be sure to come out for some great food for thought about the Future of Food!
