Amnesty International has been campaigning against the death penalty since 1977, so this Saturday we will spreading awareness about World Day Against the Death Penalty by having a film screening via Netflix party. We will be watching ‘Just Mercy’ , which tells the true story of civil rights lawyer Bryan Stevenson’s fight to free wrongly condemned death row prisoner Walter McMillian.
