At Home Arts Festival is a digital space for finding community and sharing your art online while social distancing and/or self isolating. We are accepting videos of you making art at home that will be featured on a blog. This is one of the special events that take place every Thursday.

WHAT: We are going to be blasting absolute tunes over zoom and getting pretty wild to some 80’s bangers. We might also have a very secret special guest who will come and teach us some sweet sweet moves to boogie in our own lounge rooms.
After our dancing we will also announce the 4th ever Couch PotARTo prize for the most innovative, creative and experimental piece submitted to the At Home Arts Festival.

WHERE : Join us at 5:30pm on Thursday 16th of April on Zoom.

DRESSCODE: All out 80’s! Big hair, big eyeshadow, wear your best leg warmers if you’ve got them!

Check out our blog so far:

If you want to get involved with the festival you can join this Facebook group.

This festival is brought to you by the Creative Arts Department of the University of Melbourne Student Union. This event will take place in cyberspace, but we would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which many of us live and work: the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. We would also like to acknowledge that all land of so-called “Australia” is stolen and that sovereignty was never ceded.
