At Home Arts Festival is a digital space for finding community and sharing your art online while social distancing and/or self isolating. We are accepting videos of you making art at home that will be featured on a blog. This is one of the special events that take place every Thursday.

WHAT: We’ll be live streaming a specially curated dance mix through Zoom. Expect a WIDE range of music, some wild moves you never saw before and no judgement. We’ll be dancing for 45 minutes and the musical journey will be a wave – it starts quite gently, peaks with some bangers and then comes back down to stillness.

It doesn’t matter if you wanna do interpretive dance, be still in the same breath or shake the COVID rage out of you. Come and sweat out your stress with us!

WHERE : Join us on Thursday 14th May at 5:30pm on Zoom.

DRESSCODE: Comfy clothes that you can move in!

REGISTER : Go to this Eventbrite to register your interest.

Check out the Facebook event for updates.

Get involved with At Home Arts Festival

If you want to get involved with the festival you can join this Facebook group.

This festival is brought to you by the Creative Arts Department of the University of Melbourne Student Union. This event will take place in cyberspace, but we would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which many of us live and work: the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. We would also like to acknowledge that all land of so-called “Australia” is stolen and that sovereignty was never ceded.
