With the added stress COVID-19 lockdowns are bringing to all Victorians, especially UoM students and more specifically students in the Health Sciences, our future front line workers! We thought it would be a great opportunity to learn and practice some self care strategies to help us reduce potential burn-out, manage our stress and anxiety in uncertain times and to help us connect both to ourselves and our fellow peers.
As such MUNSS has been in consultation with UoM Counselling and Psychological Services (CAPS) a free and important resource offered to ALL students at the UoM. The lovely Kate a counsellor from the CAPS service has kindly volunteered her time to help us run a 🦋✨🌟 Guided Mindfulness Meditation Exercise🌟✨🦋 for not only MUNSS members and Nursing Students but for all interested students from Health Sciences and she is also letting us know about the support and resources available for ALL UoM students at CAPS.
We highly encourage you all to come along, take a break from your studies and get connected 🌻🌈☀️🧘♀️💫🙏👉💪🌟✨🦋.
