Captioning Workshop

Presented by Union House Theatre

Have you found yourself asking how or when you should use captions? Do you want to increase your outreach and accessibility?

Captioning is not only an incredible access provision for those that require it but is also used by the majority of people as it helps with comprehension, accuracy, engagement, and retention.

Come join UHT’s Clynton and Erin as they chat through the basics and advise you on how to use captioning for your online, social media and IRL performances and works. We will be talking through what captioning programs we use and you will learn about the difference between live captioning and subtitling.

If you have any specific questions or captioning projects please bring them along.
No experience necessary.

When: Wednesday 14th April, 2pm-3pm
Cost: Free
