The theme this year is Empowering Education! Create solutions that empower your peers to learn! Sick of LMS? Create something better! Lecture capture’s down? Think up a better solution!

<- – – – – HOW ARE TEAMS FORMED? – – – – ->
1. As Catalyst is a selective hackathon, teams are *allocated* by the organisers
2. Catalyst is a hackathon involving both high school and university students. Teams will be composed of 2 high school students and 2 university students.
3. If you are a University student, you’ll be able to flex your teaching skills and practice being the leader/a mentor in your team with the help of your uni student teammate of course.

<- – – – – – – – HOW DO I MENTOR? – – – – – – ->
(For University Students) Don’t worry if you don’t know how to mentor your high school teammates! We have a whole day of workshops before the two day hackathon! Meet your team, bond with them and learn new skills! We’ll also have industry mentors on the weekend to help out whilst you’re hacking.
