Join us for a talk that critically examines the diversity within diversity, looking not only at majority and immigrant and ethnic minority groups, but also the diversity within these groups—”diversification of diversity”, or super-diversity.

Dr Yassir Morsi is a lecturer in politics at La Trobe University and previously a post-doctoral Researcher at the International Centre for Muslim and Non-Muslim Understanding at the University of South Australia.

His main area of research is the critical analysis of contemporary racism and Islamophobia.

Dr Morsi is a regular contributor to The Guardian, and some of his books include the recent ‘Radical Skin, Moderate Masks: De-radicalising the Muslim and Racism in Post-racial Societies’.
