Hedda Gabler

Presented by Four Letter Word Theatre

Newly married, bored, trapped. Hedda’s longing for a life of freedom and beauty become the very things that pin her down.

Henrik Ibsen’s striking work that deals with the harrowing nature of societal expectation has been readapted for modern audiences in a fresh new take by Arthur Knight and Simon Farley, and directed by Kate Douglas.

Four Letter Word Theatre would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. We acknowledge their elders past and present and pay our respects to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders in attendance.
