Our fourth Anti-Racism Workshop, also part of PoC Mental Health Week, will be run by Akshata Kulkarni.

“One of A Different Kind” is Akshata’s take on casual racism, where she will explore everyday racism, stories and experiences. This will be an interactive workshop so come along and share your own stories.

Akshata Kulkarni is a Masters of Management student at Unimelb. With a background in psychology and curiosity in her nature, asking “why” is her primary hobby. She loves riding her bike on a warm sunny day and enjoys reading on cold rainy nights.

The UMSU People of Colour Department acknowledge that this event is taking place on the land of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present, and future and acknowledge that this land was stolen and sovereignty was never ceded.
