UMSU Queer Political Action Collective‘s first event of the year — Pride Chats with our comrades at We Are Union Pride!

Pride Chats are a space to discuss queer folx’s experiences in the workplace, identify challenges in the workplace for queer people, and how we might overcome these issues through trade unionism! It’ll be a great event to discuss what we can collectively achieve to eradicate queerphobias at work, and what unions are doing and can do to address bigotry and marginalisation in the current economy.

The discussion will be guided by Jess Mattar, who is the Equality Union Organiser at Victorian Trades Hall Council.

Come along for passionate discussion, resistance plans and probably snacks, after our first Lunch With The Queer Bunch! (This is an autonomous event)

2pm-3:30pm at the Food Co-op, Level 1 of Union House!

Union House, Tin Alley, University of Melbourne, Parkville VIC 3010
