This workshop will be a practical overview of the Beaker Browser, a web browser that lets you make websites on a peer-to-peer network. We’ll go over the basics of making a dat site (and what makes them different to other websites), talk about tech autonomy, and play with code. Depending on time and interest, we might also look at open source projects on GitHub, or check out the command line.
Everyone is welcome, regardless of tech experience and whether you attended the first workshop. Please install the Beaker Browser beforehand if you can.

We would like to acknowledge that this event was organised on the stolen land of the Wurundjeri Peoples of the Kulin Nation. We would like to pay our respects to elders past present and emerging of this land on the lands from which participants will be calling in from. Sovereignty was never ceded. This always was and always will be Aboriginal Land.
