Call-out for “Gandhi’s Wife” as part of Tastings 2020.

Looking for a female-identifying South Asian actor!

First-time playwright and graduate student Prachi Singhal is currently working on a seed draft for the University of Melbourne’s Tastings 2020 Showcase. The piece is called “Gandhi’s Wife” which aims to depict the life of Kasturba Gandhi, the wife of Mahatma Gandhi and she is looking for a volunteer actor to read a series of monologues in mid-October on an online platform.

You will be required for approximately 3 hours including a rehearsal and the final performance (all through online communication e.g. Zoom). Unfortunately, you will not be compensated for your time as this opportunity only exists on a volunteer basis.
