The UMSU Women’s Department presents a screening of the acclaimed US documentary, The Hunting Ground. The documentary follows the struggles of university students who experience sexual assault and harassment on campus, and the many difficulties they face while seeking justice. The issues of victim blaming and university inaction resonates with the current situation in Australia.

The screening will be followed by a panel discussion, with time for audience questions. The panel will feature UMSU Women’s Officers Molly Willmott and Kareena Dhaliwal, NUS Women’s Officer Kate Crossin, journalist and activist Nina Funnell, and college student Rose-Monet Wilson Scott.
