UMEC proudly presents: Egyptian Talks! – the first in (hopefully) a series of talks with prominent Egyptians! 🇪🇬🇦🇺

Join us for a discussion with Mohamed Khairat, a University of Melbourne alumni and founder of the independent grassroots news media organisation, Egyptian Streets, which started as a University project and has since blossomed into the number one English media organisation in Egypt.

Mohamed has been selected among the Forbes Europe ‘30 Under 30 in Media & Marketing’, as well as the ‘Arab 30 Under 30’ list by Forbes Middle East in 2018, and this discussion will provide an insight into the experiences of an Egyptian-Australian and fellow student of UniMelb, as well as the unforgettable benchmark he left.

This exciting event will take place via Zoom and is free & open to everyone – just make sure you fill out the RSVP form (click here).

The discussion will last between 30-60 mins with time for questions at the end.

We hope to see you there!
