This is the second of a series of four sessions about the fundamentals of Vex Robotics and its competitive applications.

In Session 2, we will be looking at various different applications of equipment within the Vex Robotics catalogue, how they can be used to create various mechanical systems, as well as the benefits and uses of various designs, such as lifts, flywheels, catapults and wheelie-bars .

Our second session welcomes a Special guest from Melbourne, with years of experience in competitive robotics, and in particular building championship-winning robots. Our guest holds many impressive titles, including winning the Excellence award at the 2018 & 2019 Australian Championships, winning the National Championships in both 2018 and 2019, as well as various State titles, and dozens of judged awards.

This event is open to all University and High school students interested in competitive robotics and will be followed by a games night for club members in the Melbourne University Vex Robotics Club Discord.

Each session is expected to run for 60 minutes, with the games night running for an additional hour.
