To round off week 1, the Astronomy club is going to be setting up on South Lawn on Friday evening, to point our telescope upwards and look at some of the beauties of the night sky that make the cold weather bearable. Another thing that makes the weather bearable is pizza! We’ll be setting that up too.

In the event that it’s cloudy that night, instead of staying on South Lawn being generally unhappy, we’ll retreat to Theatre A of the Old Arts building, which is just to the north-west of South Lawn, to watch an episode of Cosmos, or maybe a movie. Yes, there will still be pizza even if it’s cloudy.
