We acknowledge that this event is held on stolen lands, and that sovereignty for this land was never ceded. We’d like to pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging. We’d also like acknowledge that sexism has disproportionately affected Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and non-binary people, and that they should always be at the forefront of our feminist activism.
