Art Collection

The Union Art Collection

The Union Art Collection is a growing collection of student artwork funded by MU Student Union Ltd. It originally developed from the Student Union inheriting a small number of works on paper in 1994 that were acquired by the old MCAE Student Association that formed the Students Association Art Collection commencing in the mid 1970s.

Since 2001 MU Student Union Ltd has provided funds to acquire student art work on an annual basis. The Union Art Collection is displayed within Union House; in many offices and public student areas. The collection is managed by the Arts Programs Coordinator.
