Academic Program

VCE Summer School endeavours to provide academic support to students in as many VCE subjects as possible. Students take classes in each of the subjects they’ll be studying for the coming year, with each subject running 6 tutorials of one hour each over the two week program. In each tutorial there are between one and fifteen students, all taught by the same tutor (or pair of tutors) for every class. These tutors will teach and provide many tips, tricks and pointers to achieving best results in VCE.  Many of our tutors are also available for one-on-one tutoring throughout the program.

Year 12 Academic Program

A place in the Academic Program covers all classes, subject booklets, participation in the Activities program, a VCE Summer School T-shirt, some lunches, and any focus tutoring students require.

“Brilliant, extremely patient tutors. Deep knowledge of subject matter, couldn’t ask for more.” – 2016 VCESS Student

NB: Vocational Education & Training (VET), Higher School Certificate (HSC) and International Baccalaureate (IB) subjects are not offered at VCE Summer School, but students may opt to take their VCE equivalent if they wish to attend the program.
