UMSU is playing its part in the implementation of the University of Melbourne’s social distancing measures under public health guidelines and are moving its events online where possible.
We aim to foster a sense of community within our student body while we are physical distancing, to boost happiness, reduce stress and support one another when life can feel a little out of control. You may find other events of interest to you in our online events calendar:

ONLINE SAFETY

If you feel unsafe, unprotected or upset by something during this online event, please bring this to the attention of the event host.
The event host will be able to remove the person from the meeting immediately, rather than letting the situation escalate. If you experience racial or religious vilification you can make a complaint to the Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission on 1300 292 153. If you are being vilified and are in immediate danger, please contact Victoria Police on 000. You can also contact the University free counselling service Monday to Friday 9am-5pm on 8344 6927 for emotional support.
