stormy weather: the love and loss story of mist and willow
An entrancing performance of original songs written and performed by Leslie Ho.
‘stormy weather’ is an online audio-visual music performance about the love and loss story of two star-crossed lovers, Mist and Willow.
Throughout the performance, we follow Mist as they navigate her way in life and love, through his relationship with Willow, and how it affects both of them. The title ‘stormy weather’ is taken from one of the songs in the performance, and it is about how even through stormy weathers and floods of grief, someday you will be okay and live through the pain. The performance can be summarised by the lyrics, “I’ll be your shelter, amidst the stormy weather”, which demonstrates how the theme of ‘home’ can be present no matter where you are because ‘home’ is not a place but a person, an object, a feeling, or whatever you want it to be, as long as it gives you warmth and safety.
