This is my home

by Nicola De Rosbo-Davies

This project invited and continues to invite people from all around the world to submit their writing, art and photography which explores the theme of home and what home means to them. Nicola would like to continue to invite people to submit entries, as she feel this could be an ongoing project, with room to grow. These contributions are included in a series of handmade “junk journals” which are journals made with a range of different pages of all shapes and sizes including old book pages and other recycled materials. All three journals in the series include a window in the cover, as though we are having a peek into different perspectives of home, even if home is not just about having walls around you.

Video description: A video of the artist flicking through the hand bound journals made. There are fabric, paper and photographic elements within the journal.
Audio description:

Running time: 18mins approx.

We acknowledge the Wurundjeri and Boon Wurrung people of the Kulin Nations as the Traditional Owners of the land upon which we live, work, and learn. We pay our respects to the Elders past, present, and emerging. Sovereignty was never ceded. This always was and always will be, Aboriginal land.
