Migration and visas
The UMSU Legal Service does not provide legal advice on migration law.
The university provides limited advice about student visa issues related to your course of study. You can find information about student visas and contact the university here.
For advice on other migration and visa issues, you should contact a registered migration agent or immigration lawyer. You can find a registered migration agent, or check to make sure your migration agent is registered, on the website of the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority here.
Alternatively, you can use a registered migration agent from our UMSU Legal Service – Migration Referral Sheet.
You can also use the Law Institute of Victoria’s Legal Referral Service to access an initial 30 minutes of free legal advice from an immigration lawyer.
The information on this website is not legal advice. It is legal information only. If you require legal advice, please contact the UMSU Legal Service here.
