IMPORTANT INFO from the protest organisers:⁠
"Invasion Day 2021 COVID Safe Instructions⁠
This march is a COVID safe event and we have a COVID safety plan that all attendees must follow. Your safety and the safety of the community is important to us.⁠
- All participants must wear a mask at the march⁠
- Bring hand sanitiser and use it frequently⁠
- Stay home and participate online if you have cold and flu like symptoms⁠
- you must organise in groups of 100 and each group of 100 must stay 10 metres apart as directed by marshals on the day⁠
- Everyone must follow the directions of the marshals on the day who will implement the COVID safety plan⁠
- Follow live COVID updates on the day on the Facebook event page"⁠

The Mentoring Program is a student-led UMSU Volunteer Program.⁠

✅ Support new students entering their first semester, encouraging a confident and smooth transition into Uni life⁠
✅ Support existing students to further engage with everything UniMelb has to offer.⁠

👥 Mentoring Network Directors work as part of a team to plan, deliver and evaluate the Program⁠
⁠
👉 These are casual roles with hours varying from week to week. Sound like just the gig you were looking for?⁠

Unfortunately, the University seems to think the pandemic and its impacts are all over for students 🤔⁠
⁠
UMSU is disappointed that many support COVID resources rolled out by the University in 2020 stopped toward the end of the year.⁠
⁠
💥 UMSU’s campaigns for the University to provide further and better supports for students will continue 💥⁠
⁠
📌 In the meantime, UniMelb’s Financial Aid Service is the only University-based service that can help with grants, loans and financial support referrals.⁠
