BEST COFFEE: Melbourne is one of the best cities in the world for coffee, so most cafés do a pretty great job no matter where you go. Castro's is generally considered the best on campus, but Standing Room, Dr DAX Kitchen, HoHo's Canteen, Ida Bar, and Carté Crépes are also great options.
CHEAPEST COFFEE: If you're on a tight budget but still want a treat, we've got you covered. The cheapest of the cheap are the self-serve machine coffees from the Campus General Store and the 7-11 nearby, but for affordable barista-made coffees the Ida Bar is the place to go.
BEST MATCHA: For authentic matcha, you'll need to bring your own from home or head to a cafe off-campus. For yummy non-traditional matcha, go to St Ali or Little Mylk Bar.
BEST HOT CHOCOLATE: The best coffee places generally also do a smashing hot choccy. St Ali and Castro's also do special flavours sometimes which is fun! FYI Ida Bar also has lovely hot chocolates.
