Places to chill on campus

South Lawn:
Generations of students have spent many sunny afternoons on the iconic South Lawn. It's a great outdoor space to recharge alone or hang with friends.

Rowden White Library:
With gaming stations, puzzles, a cinema room, and all the books you could ever want, there is no better place to relax than the Rowdy. It's UMSU's pride and joy and we cannot recommend it highly enough. It’s the only place on campus where you’re not allowed to study.

Ida Bar:
The perfect spot to escape from the study grind. With a laid back café/bar vibe, it's a world away from the stress of assignments and deadlines.

Systems Garden:
Refresh your mind and reconnect with nature in this peaceful garden sanctuary. With hundreds of different local and imported flora for students to discover, it's well worth a visit!

Building 168:
The home of UMSU! Located in the Student Pavilion, this building has great places to eat, plenty of space for chatting with friends, and free board games on level 3.

Autonomous Spaces:
UMSU's Queer, International, and Disabilities departments all have autonomous spaces to meet like-minded people from your community and relax.
