Chinese Students and Scholars Association

We organise various events for Chinese International students to connect, have fun and learn. Join us for discounts at over 100 merchants, 10+ events every semester and brilliant cultural fairs.

 

Chinese Students and Scholars Association(CSSA) is a student-run association represents the voice of all Chinese students.

The association aims to offer a platform to all the Chinese students in university to assist personal and professional growth. It offers a range of activities for students to expand extracurricular interests, develop social skills and increase academic interactions. It facilitates culture communication in culturally diverse Australian society.

It is our greatest hope CSSA can be not only a solid advocate for Chinese student community, but also a great resource to help to fulfil your student life.

Club Aims:

  1. To serve the interests of Chinese students and scholars in the university environment.
  2. To assist Chinese students in dealing with common issues facing overseas students.
  3. To build the solid linkage between postgraduate students and undergraduate students.
  4. To promote the University of Melbourne globally, and support the academic interaction with Chinese Universities to liaise with relevant services and agencies in China.
  5. To support the academic interaction with Australia Universities and associated affairs with Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations in Australia.
  6. To promote the University of Melbourne globally, especially in China.
