Greens Club

The Unimelb Greens Club is for anyone who cares about progressive politics. We want to build a future where everyone has what they need to live a good life. Join us to get involved with local campaigns, grassroots actions, or attend social events (often with special guests!). As a party, the Greens are guided by four pillars: Ecological sustainability, Participatory Democracy, Social Justice, and Peace and Non-violence. Come and be part of the largest left-wing movement in Australian politics!

Club Aims:

• To organise social events and campaign activities for students who are interested in progressive politics and values of the Australian Greens.
• To provide pathways and opportunities for students to get involved in the political process through education, discussion, and activism.
• To promote the Australian Greens Party (and associated Greens parties across Australia and overseas) to students on campus, and in the community.
• To promote the four pillars of the Australian Greens on campus and in the community through involvement of various campaigns (Social Justice, Ecological Sustainability, Grassroots Participatory Democracy, and Peace and Non-violence).
• To provide pathways to support and be involved with the party, whether on or off campus.
