Arts Lab

The Arts Lab is an open-access art studio for creative activity located on Level 1, Arts and Cultural Building, Monash Road, Building 159 (MAP).

The space is equipped with large movable work tables and art materials, and can be booked for the purpose of arts related activities by current students and staff of the University of Melbourne. It’s an ideal space for individuals and groups to get together to embark on a creative project, whether it be painting banners, theatre set design, rehearsal, craft or drawing.

The Arts Lab Terms and Conditions must be agreed to before booking sessions in the Lab. Please provide at least 48 hours notice where possible, with booking requests monitored Tuesday - Friday. Please note, booking requests are not guaranteed and must be confirmed by Arts Programs staff in writing.

Are you a student department or club looking to borrow a badge maker? Please ensure you have understood the component ordering process here, and then please fill in a loan request here.
