ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Providing front-of-house support, including opening and closing the gallery, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring the safety of artworks.
  • Assisting with the installation and deinstallation of exhibitions.
  • Engaging with visitors, offering information about current exhibitions and the gallery's mission.
  • Supporting event planning and execution, such as openings, artist talks, and workshops.
  • Performing administrative tasks such as data entry, correspondence, and record-keeping.

You will receive support from the Arts Program Coordinator and the UMSU Arts Programs team. You'll also get to make new friends and learn skills in this welcoming and social environment. Please check out the volunteer role description for all the details.
