Collection

The UMSU Art Collection is a growing collection of student artwork funded by UMSU. It originally developed from the Student Union inheriting a small number of works on paper in 1994 that were acquired by the old MCAE Student Association that formed the Students Association Art Collection commencing in the mid 1970s. Since 2004, UMSU has provided funds to acquire student art work on an annual basis. A number of works are now displayed on a grill wall in the corridor of level 3, Arts and Cultural Building, with more works ready to be displayed around the New Student Precinct. The collection is managed by the Arts Programs Coordinator.
