Inhabiting the space between semesters, the Arts Lab Winter Residency works outside of structures surrounding assessment, deadlines, and institutional administration. This winter residency prioritises an environment that fosters conditions for low-pressure making, speculative research, and in-progress/unfinished work. Applications are open now for this four-week self-directed winter studio residency, accepting four current students.

Dates: 3 – 30 June

WHERE: Arts Lab, Level 1, Building 19, Arts & Cultural, Parkville Campus

APPLICATIONS CLOSE: May 30, midnight

In 2025, this residency particularly encourages applications from student artists working with new media forms.
