Ring of Choir

Ring of Choir is fun, casual, un-auditioned acapella choir.

We sing pop-acapella, with weekly rehearsals and semi-regular performances/workshops.

Some highlights of the past year include: frequent flash-mobs, performing at the Union House Theatre Awards night, competing in the state finals of Vocal Australia’s Aus-Aca national acapella championship, and our first (hopefully of many) annual Ring of Choir camps.

It’s a great opportunity to have fun, meet fantastic people and practise your singing.

You don’t need to be able to read music or be a fantastic singer, as long as you’re enthusiastic about acapella singing.

Club Aims:

  1. To provide a safe, enjoyable space for people wanting to sing contemporary acapella.
  2. To facilitate engagement and resilience through singing and music.
  3. To provide an opportunity for students to practice, perform and have a good time together.
  4. To provide a space for people to practice conducting a choir, arranging music and improvising vocally.
