Women’s department
- The Women’s Department exists to advocate for women and non-binary students on campus. We work to make the university a safe place for women, facilitate feminist activism, run campaigns, and host fun events! The department is run by Women’s Officers who are elected during the student elections the previous year.
- Your 2021 Women’s Officers are Srishti Chatterjee (they/them) and Mickhaella Ermita (she/her).
- Our big goal this year is to center bipoc (black, indigenous and people of colour) students in our work, and make the department more accessible to trans and gender diverse people with experiences of sexism, misogyny and other forms of gender-based discrimination.
