Lauren's lectures are very surface level and repetitive throughout the entirety of this course. Although the weeks sound really interesting, usually you only end up getting very shallow discussion on the topic. As well as that, this course was initially run by Sheila Jeffreys who is a well known trans-exclusionary feminist. Although Lauren doesn't seem to share these views, a lot of the course is still very much routed in radical feminism and deeply western viewpoints on gender and sexuality. I will say though, they give you like 100 essay questions to choose from so you can end up writing about really interesting things. It's also not very difficult so good if you want somewhat easy grades.
