2 Comments on RUSS10001 Russian 1
Russian is a great subject. That faculty is really cool and it's not as hard as you think. If you have an interest, seriously pick it up and give it a go.
I would definitely recommend doing Russian 1, either as an Arts student or for Breadth in another degree. The teachers are both friendly, engaging, and supportive, and Russian is a really enjoyable and interesting language to learn. The subject isn't very demanding - the assignments are worksheets done every couple of weeks, and then there's an oral exam and a written exam at the end of the semester, both of which are very straightforward if you've been paying attention in class and doing your work. So yes, definitely give Russian a go if you're interested in picking up a language, or you need a subject that is enjoyable and not too demanding!
