Game Makers' Club

What's a Game Jam?

A game jam is an event where teams of developers (or solo developers) create a game from scratch in a specified time frame. Test your ability, learn new skills, and work with others in this collaborative hackathon-style game-making event!

Do I need experience to join?

There's no need for any experience and you can learn as you go. Game jams are an opportunity to get out of your comfort zone and push yourself in learning new skills with other people. The aim of the jam is to create something, anything! Creating something is a great first step into any creative endeavour.

Where can I join?

The event will be held from 1st April to 3rd April, with the theme being revealed on 1st April 12pm. The jam will then be concluded on 3rd April 4pm (52 hours total), with a showcase of games from 5-7pm. The event is a hybrid of online and in-person, with venues in Arts West (rooms 454 and 455) being available for in-person collaboration from 12pm-8pm each day.
