At Home Arts Festival is a digital space for finding community and sharing your art online while social distancing and/or self isolating. We are accepting videos of you making art at home that will be featured on a blog. This is one of the special events that take place every Thursday.

WHAT: Can you knit? Do you want to learn how to knit? Do you have no desire to knit but want to convince someone to make you a scarf? Come join us for a knitting circle via zoom! Knitting is not compulsory – crochet, cross stitch, roleplaying as an old lady, all crafts are welcome. We will also be announcing the FIFTH winner of the Couch PotARTo prize!

WHERE : Join us at 5:30pm on Thursday 23rd of April on Zoom.

Check out our blog so far:

If you want to get involved with the festival you can join this Facebook group.

This festival is brought to you by the Creative Arts Department of the University of Melbourne Student Union. This event will take place in cyberspace, but we would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which many of us live and work: the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. We would also like to acknowledge that all land of so-called “Australia” is stolen and that sovereignty was never ceded.
