At Home Arts Festival is a digital space for finding community and sharing your art online while social distancing and/or self isolating. We are accepting videos of you making art at home that will be featured on a blog. This is one of the special events that take place every Thursday.

WHAT: This is a celebration of your cancelled art events that never got a chance to live. We would love you to come and read a section of your script, or a funny eulogy you’ve written for your show or even do some choreography that never got to see the light of day. We want to process this loss as a community and celebrate the wonderful things that were already created.
Anyone can come whether you had an event cancelled or not! We will also be using this event as an opportunity to announce the 2nd Couch PotARTo winner of the At Home Arts Festival.

WHERE : Join us this Thursday night at 6:30pm on Zoom.

DRESSCODE: It’s a funeral! It might be a fun funeral but it’s a funeral nonetheless.

If you want to get involved with the festival you can join this Facebook group.

This festival is brought to you by the Creative Arts Department of the University of Melbourne Student Union. This event will take place in cyberspace, but we would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which many of us live and work: the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. We would also like to acknowledge that all land of so-called “Australia” is stolen and that sovereignty was never ceded.
