At Home Arts Festival is a digital space for finding community and sharing your art online while social distancing and/or self isolating. We are accepting videos of you making art at home that will be featured on a blog. This is one of the special events that take place every Thursday.

WHAT: Have you got a song to sing? A poem to read? A dance to interpret? Why not test it out in front of a welcoming audience at the very first Pot Luck Online Open Mic night? PLOOM is a low-stakes opportunity for anyone to perform anything. Sign up for an open mic slot through the zoom chat, or just come and watch the magic unfold – you never know what you might witness in the pot luck of performers.
We want to watch you ploom as performers and bring the spirit of PLOM to the magical land of your own living rooms.

WHERE : Join us on Thursday 1st May at 5:30pm on Zoom.

DRESSCODE: Whatever makes you feel brave!

If you want to get involved with the festival you can join this Facebook group.

This festival is brought to you by the Creative Arts Department of the University of Melbourne Student Union. This event will take place in cyberspace, but we would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which many of us live and work: the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. We would also like to acknowledge that all land of so-called “Australia” is stolen and that sovereignty was never ceded.
