Free Virtual Yogalates

The lovely folks at The Yoga Place studio are collaborating with UMSU Welfare to bring their amazing classes free to you for Stress Less Week! This class will combine Vinyasa Yoga and Pilates, an energetic and nourishing practice. Yogalates is inspired by Yoga and Pilates. It harnesses the physical and mental benefits of both practices, and its advocates describe it as a comprehensive exercise system to tone the core and improve flexibility. A great practice for the mind, body and soul!

All welcome, no prior experience required. Namaste!

HOW TO JOIN

(1) Hop onto The Yoga Place’s website: https://www.theyogaplace.com.au/melbourne-uni-stressless-week

(2) Click on the link to get the free pass. They have created a pass called: Melb Uni Student Free Pass | 6pm 2/6 & 9.30am 3/6.

(3) Instructions to book the classes and class descriptions are on the webpage. You will need to register your details on the Mindbody app/account.

(4) You’re all registered! Join the class via the Mindbody app/account and get your zen on.

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR

About instructor San San:

San San is a Pilates and Yoga instructor in Melbourne. In her class, she focuses on gluteus activation and core muscle engagement to strengthen abdominal. Her exercise routine is dynamic and motivated. She believes a good Pilates alignment and postures can help ease lower back issues. Previously an engineer and now a mother to two young kids, her slogan in life is “ Stay Strong, Stay Positive”.
